  Worked in a District Attorney’s office under the third-year practice act during this three-semester program, with duties ranging from legal research to arguing motions and trial preparation to assisting in presenting cases to juries, as well as training that included academic work in criminal law and procedure, trial skills, and evidence in a mock trial setting..

Offered a paid position by The District Attorney to fulfill the internship requirement and work beyond the minimum internship duration as a third-year for compensation, working 35-40 hours a week while attending classes.

Worked under the Third-Year Practice Act in the Atlantic Judicial Circuit, a six-county circuit, receiving practical experience handling felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile cases.


Handled responsibilities that included case preparation, subpoenaing witnesses, plea negotiations, jury selection, grand jury presentation, trial briefs, arguments in court, witness preparation, case investigation, legal research, and coordinating with police agencies and Probation and Department of Juvenile Justice.
